Ugly Singaporeans
I first saw this trolley on the first day of school while on the way to school. Actually there are 3 trolleys, but today somehow or rather, other 2 trolley went missing. Maybe some Singapore Aunties put 1 dollar coin and went wet market with the trolley to put their vegetables. And mind you, this trolley is from a toy store, Toys"R"Us, not from NTUC (One of the Singapore Supermarket). But again, how come 3 toy store’s trolley appeared? One, maybe someone kiasu use 3 trolley at the same time OR, two, maybe there were 3 different people using trolley and use the tree as trolley collection point.
Evident for trolley came from Toys"R"Us.
No matter what, this is “Ugly Singaporeans”.

When I was working with one supermarket (selling coca cola) - we were using can-opener-like metal thingys to slot into the coin slot and would be able to use the trolley without slotting in the one-dollar coin.

I wonder why some aunties are such a daredevil to steal trolleys and use the trolleys to buy groceries in wet markets. They can be charged for stealing.

GeckoZ, As long as they use the trollet out of the shopping center, it is stealling.
I also don't know Tampines got Toy"R"us. Maybe they push the trolley from other places.

There R many other ugly things Singaporeans do - reserving seats at hawker centers or food courts with packets of tissues, budging into buses, MRTs and lifts once the doors open, treating white foreigners like gold while locals like dirt.. You will see a even more clearer picture when you live outside of Singapore. Gosh, by the way Singaporeans speak, with the ever-so horrible 'Singlish', its such a disgrace. Getting out of the country and knowing people around from elsewhere, you will be aware of how others from the 'outside' sees us. Its getting abit shameful to tell people where I come from.
