Hi Cockroach, I must confess I have not read your blog before becos I thot its mainly kids stuff. But actually, I enjoy some of your articles. I like your article about Parents Interfere too Much. As a father of 3 kids around your age, let me say, if parents don't interfere, then they are really weird.
But for my generation, the parents usually don't 'interfere' much becos they not so well-educated plus they have so many children.
Happy New Year to you. Hope you get lots of Ang Pows.

Lam Chun See, Hi! Welcome to bilingual fingers!
Acturlly, I and not going against on parent interfering...but I think sometimes they must give some chance to their child on decieding some things...like CCA...they should go for their intrest, if not they won't go for their CCA.
i, Happy Chinese New Year! ai yo...we both both people....*sigh*

I agree that parents should be involved but not interfere. They can recommend something but not force something upon their children cause in the end, it is the child's choice and happiness on the line. Why make them do something they don't like? In the end they will just study something else hence waste more money and time. Note: I'm not saying they should be afraid to try it out since they may not know until they try it.
Gong xi fat cai!!
BTW, that's a cool looking notebook
