“Teacher, I forgot to do my homework.”

I bet this is what teachers normally hear right? Few months ago when Sam, June, Ah May, and Kim sit down together to talk about their work life and their student, Cockroach sitting with them to be busybody know more about their job and serve them drinks and etc. So they start to think for ideas on how to punish those students for not doing their homework stop people forgets about their homework. Yea right, teachers got pay for listen to the students excuse for not doing their homework; make the teachers angry and etc, etc.

How to stop student for not doing their homework? Sometimes, we, the students, really forget to do the homework or sometimes maybe, in the worst case, we leave our homework in class. Yea, it also part of the excuses that teachers hear right? But, sometimes it is true! But the problem is teachers don’t believe us.

We can have homework call alert, you know, when there is homework, there will a call, SMS or whatever to remind you of your homework. But how will it works, I don’t know. Maybe must ask telecom expert. Image…

Boyboy: Oh shit! I forgot to do Social Studies homework. Better do now. 5 essay question, need a lot of time to finish. Better don’t sleep now. Luckily have this SMS alert, if not tomorrow will get scolded. Thanks to SMS homework alert.

Ha! Ha! Ha! Yea, all thanks to SMS alert, but this will only work for student who really cares about their homework and their studies. For those who only think about playing games, don’t waste so much money sending SMS alert to them.

But what happen if we forgot to bring our homework home? Got SMS alert also no use, never bring homework home, how to do? So, cockroach here, proudly introducing one of his crazy ideas…

Homework Pack!

Teacher can simply put all their worksheet and etc inside this homework pack and student just got to remember to being the homework pack home. You know, sometimes when we got so many homework we might leave it one of them. With this homework pack, either you forgot to bring the whole homework pack or you just forgot to put the worksheet inside. Your can also try to have all subject in one homework pack or maybe one subject per homework pack. But remember, sometimes when student don’t like a particular subject, they won’t bring the homework home.

On that next day, teacher can just collect the homework pack for marking. And return the homework pack to them next time. So maybe student will get 2 to 3 homework pack and it rotates. The homework pack is recyclable. Please, save the Mother Earth.

The “homework pack system” has many ways of using it. It has to depend on the teacher on how to use the homework pack so that student will not easily forgot to do their homework or bring back their homework. It must also depend on the class that which method will work the best for the class.

Above are just my crazy ideas. PLEASE DO NOT USE IT. If you use it, please be prepared to be listed on student most hated teachers list. (Sam, got it?)

But I think…no one is using this stupid idea right? Ha! Ha! Ha!

P.S to JYSS students: The school isn’t using the idea. The Homework pack is photoshoped. Please do not send the homework pack picture to others and say something that is not true. You don’t want to get into trouble so do I. Please think before you do or say anything.
